The name “RAE” honors both Danene’s middle name and her beloved grandfather, a figure of strength and wisdom. The butterfly in our logo is a tribute to her mother, Billie Jean, whose love of the symbol reflects freedom, transformation, and grace.

Danene Rae Fulkerson brings more than 28 years of experience to the world of skincare, aesthetics, and regenerative wellness. As both a Registered Nurse and Licensed Esthetician, she delivers a rare blend of clinical knowledge and aesthetic artistry—ensuring every treatment is rooted in safety, science, and personalization.

Danene founded RAE to offer a sanctuary for transformation—a place where clients feel seen, supported, and celebrated. Her signature approach is intuitive, refined, and grounded in innovation. From bespoke facials to advanced injectables and regenerative therapies, Danene’s techniques restore confidence by revealing the beauty that already exists within.

Her deep belief in whole-person care has led to continuous advancements in treatment protocols and service offerings. She is known for curating one-of-a-kind experiences that deliver elevated results while nurturing long-term skin health.

Dr. Jonathan Hodor (DO)

Medical Director

As the Medical Director for RAE Regenerative Aesthetics, Dr. Jonathan Hodor brings a warm, comprehensive, and highly personalized approach to patient care. He draws on over 17 years of clinical experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine, paired with more than three years of dedicated focus on aesthetics and regenerative, integrative health.

Dr. Hodor specializes in Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT), medical weight loss, and integrative wellness, with a particular passion for advanced peptide therapies. For him, medicine isn’t just about treating symptoms—it’s about “intentional aging” and helping patients truly thrive.
Before joining RAE, Dr. Hodor served as the Assistant Medical Director at Maryland Perinatal Associates, where he was highly regarded for his clinical leadership and deep dedication to patient care.

Now, he is thrilled to lead the team at RAE Regenerative Aesthetics. Dr. Hodor is deeply passionate about helping both men and women reclaim their energy, vitality, and longevity. By guiding his patients toward healthier, more sustainable lifestyles, his goal is to use proactive, integrative care to prevent the chronic conditions often tied to poor weight management—such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, chronic pain, and sexual dysfunction. Ultimately, Dr. Hodor is here to empower his patients to live their longest, healthiest, and most vibrant lives.

Kira Mae Fulkerson

Chief Smile Officer (CSO)

Operating strictly from her headquarters behind the front desk, Kira is RAE’s secret weapon for patient happiness. As our part-time Chief Smile Officer, she provides complimentary serotonin boosts to every client who walks through our doors. She might not be able to schedule your next wellness appointment, but she is highly trained in spontaneous joy generation.

Kira believes that true regenerative health starts with a warm welcome and a wagging tail. She leaves the peptide therapies to Dr. Hodor, focusing entirely on making sure every patient feels right at home. She maintains a strict part-time schedule, usually commuting into the office alongside Danene’s husband, James. When she is on the clock, she is completely dedicated to ensuring your visit starts with a smile and ends with a little extra joy.
